Abstract
Lors des dernières années, des événements tels le #GamerGates et les dénonciations de harcèlements sexuels ont montré qu’il existe des problèmes persistants quant à la situation des femmes dans la culture et l’industrie vidéoludique. Cette violence est loin d’être un phénomène récent. Plusieurs recherches pointent les difficultés que rencontrent les jeux vidéo quand la question du genre est abordée, que cela soit dans les jeux eux-mêmes ou la presse spécialisée. Cet article analyse ainsi la presse vidéoludique anglophone et francophone de manière à mettre en avant la façon dont les femmes ont été traitées dans différentes revues publiées entre les années 1985 et 2001. Nous démontrons alors la nécessité d’utiliser une analyse micro des diverses revues vidéoludiques pour observer plus en profondeur les dissonances, les influences et les remises en question qui parsèment ces sources malgré un contexte général patriarcal et hégémonique.
