La fabriqueREL ou comment développer la culture du partage en enseignement supérieur au Québec

Abstract
Les ressources éducatives libres (REL) sont vues par l’UNESCO (2015) comme un moyen de pallier les besoins croissants d’éducation supérieure dans le monde au-delà des inégalités économiques. À l’échelle du Québec, où le matériel pédagogique spécialisé en français se fait souvent rare, il apparait opportun de miser sur la mutualisation des ressources et la solidarité interétablissements. C’est dans ce contexte que la fabriqueREL, une structure organisationnelle et opérationnelle, a été mise sur pied en 2019 dans le cadre du Plan d’action numérique en éducation et en enseignement supérieur du Québec. La fabriqueREL a pour mission de faire des REL le soutien d’enseignement privilégié en enseignement supérieur au Québec, notamment en accompagnant le développement de projets de création, d’adaptation, de diffusion et d’utilisation de REL, mais aussi en promouvant les valeurs qui soutiennent l’éducation libre et la collaboration interprofessionnelle et interétablissements. Après quelques années d’activités, la fabriqueREL contribue déjà à faire en sorte que le Québec rattrape son retard sur le monde anglophone dans ce dossier. Malgré des défis, certains éléments de contexte sont favorables à l’essor des REL en enseignement supérieur, dont l’intérêt croissant envers les valeurs associées aux REL.
