Abstract
Le présent article se fixe pour objectif d’analyser le processus de deshumanisation du sujet africain, immigré ou non, dans Douceurs du bercail d’Aminata Sow Fall. A travers les trajectoires d’immigrés illégaux et de celui d’une voyageuse en transit, le roman décrit la confusion entretenue dans l’imaginaire français qui voit en chaque Africain un immigré. En me servant des concepts foucaldiens de la lèpre et de la peste, puis de la notion du camp d’Agamben, je formule l’hypothèse que montrer que le sujet africain qui prend le chemin de la France s’engage dans un processus d’annihilation de son humanité.
