Abstract
ResumenNocardia seriolae, una bacteria filamentosa ramificada grampositiva, es el agente causal de la nocardiosis de los peces.Infecta principalmente a los peces a través de las branquias, el ano y la línea lateral o lesiones que se encuentran en la piel, produciendo una gran cantidad de n odulos blancos en los organos viscerales y ulceraciones en la piel.N. seriolae puede infectar a unas 42 especies de peces y dañar gravemente la industria acuícola en muchas regiones, particularmente en Asia.Con el objetivo de tener una comprensi on más completa sobre N. seriolae para la realizaci on de esta revisi on, se recopil o la literatura existente de N. seriolae antes de enero de 2022, mediante la búsqueda en nueve bases de datos y el conocimiento actual de la diversidad del huésped, la resistencia a los medicamentos, el genotipo y el fenotipo, el factor de virulencia, la detecci on molecular y el desarrollo de la vacuna.También se examinan estudios futuros para ayudar a la investigaci on sobre el mecanismo patogénico y el control de la infecci on por N. seriolae.
