Abstract
La communauté de Hawkesbury située dans l’Est de l’Ontario est confrontée à de nombreux défis sociaux et économiques. Pour trouver des solutions à ces multiples défis, le responsable du développement stratégique et communautaire a mis en place un laboratoire vivant réunissant une quinzaine d’acteurs issus de différents horizons. Cette démarche de co-construction qui s’est déroulée de septembre 2020 à novembre 2021 a permis d’identifier des problématiques locales, de bâtir une vision commune et d’imaginer des projets pour répondre à ces enjeux. Cette étude basée sur une méthode d’observation participante cherche à analyser les pratiques mises en place au sein du laboratoire vivant à travers une dimension spécifique : le besoin de construire une légitimité collective dans le but de motiver les acteurs privés, citoyens et publics à mettre en place des projets de développement communautaire.
