SIG mempunyai kemampuan untuk menghubungkan berbagai data pada suatu titik tertentu di bumi, menggabungkannya, menganalisa dan akhirnya memetakan hasilnya. Pemetaan Sistem Informasi merupakan salah satu sistem yang banyak digunakan untuk membantu mengambil keputusan, perencanaan dan analisi. Pemetaan dilakukan bertujuan dengan kemudahan dalam mencari titik lokasi. Pemetaan posyandu bertujuan memudahkan pegawai puskesmas dalam pencarian informasi tentang titik lokasi, galeri, serta alamat lengkap posyandu di Kecamatan Air Batu. Metode yang digunakan dalam membuat sistem infromasi kali ini yaitu metode waterfall. Hasil analisis kali ini didapatkan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang dapat digunakan untuk mencari titik lokasi posyandu di Kecamatan Air Batu dengan akurat.
