Abstract
Le Canada a adopté la Politique d’aide internationale féministe (PAIF) qui impose d’intégrer l’égalité entre les genres comme axe transversal de tous les projets de développement international. Pour répondre aux exigences d’Affaires Mondiales Canada (AMC), les organismes de coopération internationale doivent adopter des approches en concordance avec les principes véhiculés par la PAIF : l’autonomisation des femmes et des jeunes filles. Ainsi, pour recueillir les points de vue des bénéficiaires de projets financés par le Canada dans six villages des îles du Saloum au Sénégal, une enquête sur les priorités des femmes, jumelée à une enquête sur les points de vue des hommes sur les projets d’autonomisation des femmes, a été réalisée. Les résultats des enquêtes ont révélé que l’Objectif de développement durable 5 (ODD5), l’égalité entre les femmes et les hommes, n’est pas une priorité pour les femmes qui ont bénéficié de plusieurs projets d’adaptation au changement climatique (CC). Selon les hommes, les rôles sont complémentaires et non égalitaires.
