Nos ofrece el autor una nueva y renovada biografía de Leandro Fernández de Moratín.Y digo eso porque ya desde el comienzo se nos introduce a un tratamiento original de la bibliografía.Aquí no tenemos una larga lista de entradas que poco o nada dicen del uso que se haya podido hacer de ellas, sino que la bibliografía existente se entrelaza, en el capítulo 1, «Moratín, figura lindante del siglo XVIII» (31-53), con comentarios pertinentes y opiniones que ubican los estudios moratinianos en una lógica precisa: la de su función instrumental en la construcción de una biografía.Asimismo, en el cierre del volumen nos encontramos con otro apartado que lleva por título «Bibliografía vital razonada» (265-77), en el que el autor nos presenta otra perspectiva de su relación con los textos críticos sobre Moratín.Asimismo, notamos un lenguaje más ligero, menos envarado, que el característico de ciertas biografías.Un lenguaje actual y coloquial, que deriva sin obstáculos.El cuerpo del libro, entonces, se articula en un diálogo abierto y enriquecedor sobre todo con los textos de
