Abstract
"Jamais une notion n’a suscité autant de regards critiques, en sciences humaines et sociales, que la notion d’idéologie. Notion transversale, qui a suscité l’intérêt de disciplines diverses, l’idéologie est aussi une notion fourre-tout. Bien qu’à partir des années 1970 des chercheurs aient annoncé la "désidéologisation" des sociétés contemporaines et proclamé "la fin des idéologies" (Bell, 1997 [1960]), la plupart de ces sociétés demeurent aujourd’hui plus idéologisées que jamais. Ce numéro thématique de la revue Circula (Université de Sherbrooke) n’a pas pour objectif de passer en revue les différentes conceptualisations de l’idéologie. Cependant, il n’est pas inutile de rappeler, sans prétendre à aucune exhaustivité, comment certaines disciplines ont conçu cette notion afin de clarifier le débat sur les rapports entre langues et idéologies au Maghreb.
