Abstract
Diffusée à la radio de Radio-Canada entre 1950 et 1962, l’émission Nouveautés dramatiques a joué un rôle séminal dans le développement d’une écriture dramatique faite pour l’oreille. Guy Beaulne, qui a conçu cette émission et en a été le réalisateur pendant les premières années, la considérait comme un laboratoire d’expérimentation et de recherche sonores, sur le modèle du laboratoire mis sur pied par Pierre Schaeffer à la Radiodiffusion française. Le présent article présente le projet conçu par Beaulne et retrace les paramètres de sa réalisation à partir d’un des rares textes disponibles à la fois en version imprimée et en version enregistrée, Le coureur de marathon de Muriel Guilbault et Claude Gauvreau.
