Abstract
Cet article aborde l’homoparentalité du point de vue enfants, entendus en tant que catégorie d’âge et catégorie de la parenté. Sur la base d’une enquête ethnographique menée entre 2016 et 2022 en Italie, je m’intéresse à une génération d’enfants des parents de même sexe qui grandit à une époque marquée par les demandes de reconnaissance de la filiation homosexuée. Si les parents participent à politiser l’homoparentalité, peut-on dire que leurs fils et leurs filles en font l’objet ? Comment occupent-ils/elles la position d’apparenté au sein d’un groupe de parenté et de membres d’une famille homoparentale vis-à-vis de la société ? Me basant sur le concept d’enfantalité, je montre comment les enfants se réapproprient progressivement des relations et parenté non reconnues socialement ou juridiquement. J’analyse ensuite comment ils occupent, au sein des espaces pluriels de la parenté, leur place de représentants d’une catégorie de famille faisant l’objet d’un processus de politisation.
