Abstract
Cet article traite des enjeux actuels entourant les stationnements réservés aux utilisateurs de vignettes pour personnes handicapées au Québec. Il dresse un portrait très exhaustif de la situation actuelle et des problèmes rencontrés par les utilisateurs de cet outil d’inclusion social souvent mal utilisé. Y sont présentés les acteurs concernés dans ce dossier et les rôles que chacun devrait assumer pour le faire progresser, de même que la raison d’être des places réservées et des vignettes de stationnement. Ensuite, y sont abordés les enjeux sociaux et les conséquences sur les personnes handicapées. Finalement, l’article identifie certaines pistes de solutions concernant le contrôle déficient par les forces de l’ordre et le manque d’harmonisation dans l’implantation des places réservées.
