Taman Wisata Alam Kerandangan merupakan bentuk kawasan pelestarian alam yang terutama dimanfaatkan untuk pariwisata dan rekreasi alam yang berada di wilayah kecamatan Batu Layar kabupaten Lombok Barat. Berdasarkan studi sebelumnya disimpulkan bahwa Taman Wisata Alam Kerandangan ini memiliki berbagai macam spesies kupu-kupu di dalamnya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan kekerabatan kupu-kupu (ordo Lepidoptera) di Taman Wisata Alam Kerandangan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengambilan sampel kupu-kupu diperoleh menggunakan survei eksploratif (jelajah) dengan metode jerat (entrapping method). Lokasi sampling meliputi wilayah taman depan TWA Kerandangan sebagai pos 1 dan pos 2 berada di wilayah air terjun goa walet. Hasil tangkapan diidentifikasi karakter spesifik morfologi yang dimiliki untuk selanjutnya dihitung persentase kemiripan dan kesamaannya. Hubungan kekerabatan dianalisis menggunakan rumus Indeks Kesamaan Sorensen. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kupu-kupu yang terjerat berjumlah 10 spesies yang terbagi dalam 3 famili yaitu Papilionidae, Nymphalidae, dan Pieridae. Berdasarkan nilai yang diperoleh menggunakan rumus Indeks Kesamaan Sorensen untuk menggambarkan tingkat kedekatan hubungan kekerabatan antar spesies ordo Lepidoptera diperoleh hasil bahwa persentase hubungan kekerabatan terdekat jatuh kepada spesies Hebomoia glaucippe dan Catopsilia pomona sebesar 100%, sedangkan spesies dengan tingkat hubungan kekerabatan terjauh yaitu antara Hebomoia glaucippe dengan Leptosia nina sebesar 60.4%.
