PENINGKATAN KEMANDIRIAN MELALUI PELATIHAN ASERTIF PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 6 WERA SATU ATAP TAHUN PELAJARAN 2018/2019

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan Kemandirian siswa melalui metode pelatihan asertif pada siswa SMPN 6 Wera Satu Atap tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subyek penelitian kelas VIII SMPN 6 Wera Satu Atap yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Subyek penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik populasi. Penelitian dilakukan secara kolaborasi antara peneliti dan guru bimbingan konseling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala dan observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala Kemandirian dan pedoman observasi. Reliabilitas skala berpikir kreatif sebesar 0,741 artinya memiliki reliabilitas yang cukup tinggi. Metode pelatihan asertif dilakukan dalam satu siklus yang terbagi dalam empat pertemuan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) Kondisi awal Kemandirian siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Wera Satu Atap secara individu tergolong rendah. Kondisi ini dibuktikan dari hasil pre-test dengan skor rata-rata Kemandirian siswa 95,69 dan dikategorisasikan dalam Kemandirian sedang. (2) Dalam penelitian ini diterapkan metode pelatihan asertif dalam satu siklus yang meliputi empat kegiatan melalui ceramah, studi kasus, diskusi kelompok, role playing, modeling, dan pengisian lembar kerja yang menyebabkan tingkat Kemandirian siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Wera Satu Atap meningkat. Peningkatan Kemandirian siswa dibuktikan dari hasil post-test skor Kemandirian rata-rata sebesar 106,33 dan dikategorisasikan dalam Kemandirian tinggi. Peningkatan skor Kemandirian siswa dari pre-test ke post-test yaitu sebesar 10,64. (3) Observasi pada saat pemberian tindakan untuk peningkatan Kemandirian menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam metode pelatihan asertif dari kegiatan I, II, III, dan IV.
