Cet article rend compte d’une modalité de jumelages interculturels qui a été réalisée dans une classe de FLS. Cette analyse vise à tracer les grandes lignes du projet, en d’autres termes à définir les jumelages interculturels, à expliquer leurs visées pour la classe de langue et à rendre compte des fondements de la démarche choisie. L’hypothèse consiste à dire que les jumelages interculturels favorisent les échanges et la communication, mais cela en respectant certains principes. De plus, le projet permettrait aux immigrants de réaliser des tâches avec des francophones dans le but de devenir des locuteurs « interculturels » efficaces.
