El Caso de la Comunidad Mayagna (Sumo) de Awas Tingni vs Nicaragua es un caso sin precedente y de referencia obligatoria para la defensa de los derechos a la propiedad territorial de los pueblos indígenas en el ámbito internacional. Este artículo resume el caso y analiza el impacto de la sentencia de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos tanto a nivel local como internacional.
