Les notions de racialisation et de blanchité pour analyser les espaces récréatifs en montagne ont été peu utilisées en France. Cet article confronte les représentations véhiculées par un corpus d’images promotionnelles, valorisant les corps blancs en station de sports d’hiver entre 2018 et 2020, et d’images fiction­nelles, mettant en scène des protagonistes noirs et métis en montagne. Les sites Internet des stations des Alpes vantent clairement la blancheur de la clientèle de leurs espaces et relèguent les populations non blanches au sein d’espaces périphé­riques, voire les invisibilisent. Paradoxalement, les comédies grand public, mettant en scène des personnages noirs et métis pratiquant des activités alpines, contri­buent à renforcer la montagne comme « espace blanc ». La montagne y est ainsi lue comme un espace de manifestation de la blanchité.
