Abstract
Penyakit Rheumatoid Arthritis merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis yang dapat menimbulkan sensasi nyeri pada lansia, salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi nyeri dengan menggunakan terapi non farmakologis. Adapun tujuan penelitian dari dilaksnakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk Peningkatan Pengetahuan Pada Lansia Mengenai Kompres Serai Terhadap Penurunan Skala Nyeri Rheumatoid, Metode pelaksanaan dilaksanakan secara off line di posyandu lansia anggrek Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kalidoni Palembang. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 25 orang lansia, Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan didapatkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan sebelum diberikan penyuluhan sebanyak 19 orang peserta (76%) peserta memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang baik mengenai Kompres Serai Terhadap Penurunan Skala Nyeri Rheumatoid Arthritis. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan kesehatan terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan sebanyak 21 orang peserta (84%) peserta memiliki pengetahuan baik mengenai Kompres Serai Terhadap Penurunan Skala Nyeri Rheumatoid Arthritis.
