Abstract
: La llegada de los Trastámara al trono aragonés favoreció la movilidad geográfica de un importante sector de las élites castellanas que pronto se instaló en sus nuevos territorios patrimoniales. El presente artículo analiza las transformaciones derivadas de esta migración de élites durante el reinado de Juan II (1458-1479), en el que cristalizaron las dinámicas iniciadas previamente por su padre, Fernando I. Mediante la consulta de registros de cancillería y documentación notarial y municipal, se ha realizado el análisis prosopográfico de algunos de los linajes e individuos castellanos al servicio del tercer Trastámara aragonés para comprobar su nivel de integración entre las élites locales. Con este propósito abordamos, en primer lugar, el proceso de articulación de su entorno curial, primero como infante y posteriormente como rey de Aragón, para profundizar a continuación en el proceso de instalación de esta nueva élite castellana en el reino de Aragón y, especialmente, en su capital.
