Abstract
Le concept de coaching fait l’objet de multiples définitions, elles-mêmes interprétées de manières diverses. Le présent article propose une clarification du concept de coaching par une démarche de définition par compréhension. Cet exercice permet d’identifier des caractéristiques essentielles et non essentielles du coaching, et des caractéristiques communes ou le distinguant des autres formes d’accompagnement professionnel. On trouvera en conclusion un tableau qui constitue un résumé de nos résultats.
