Este artigo tem o intuito demonstrar a realidade da classe trabalhadora negra no Brasil no período pós-abolição diante das estruturas desiguais estabelecidas entre trabalhadores brancos e negros, através da luta e resistência de Minervino de Oliveira e Laudelina de Melo Campos, que são figuras emblemáticas e de muita relevância não só para a história da classe trabalhadora do Brasil e negra, mas também para o Partido Comunista Brasileiro (PCB). Laudelina militante desde sempre, lutou não só pelos direitos das trabalhadoras domésticas, mas contra exploração de toda classe trabalhadora, sendo referência até os dias de hoje para a luta das domésticas. Minervino por sua vez, militante assíduo teve uma trajetória de luta ao longo de toda sua vida, sempre em prol da classe trabalhadora e da população negra, foi alvo de perseguições por seus trabalhos de base e suas atuações políticas. Assim, resgatar a história de Laudelina e Minervino é reavivarmos a luta pela emancipação real da classe trabalhadora e pela ruptura da hegemonia burguesa.
