Abstract

Este artigo pretende desdobrar a dimensão meta-literária da obra de Roberto Bolaño (1953-2003) em dois percursos paralelos trilhados nos seus múltiplos livros e que se encontram na personagem singular de Benno von Archimboldi, escritor consagrado de identidade desconhecida que une as diferentes partes de 2666. Neste sentido, procura-se numa primeira parte elencar e problematizar alguns dos tópicos tematizados por Bolaño dentro do campo literário e que serão capitais para a estrutura narrativa da sua obra magna. Num segundo momento, acompanha-se o percurso de Arturo Belano, alter-ego do autor e personagem fundamental para a compreensão da sua obra. Por último, analisa-se como estes dois percursos se confrontam e se consolidam na figura de Archimboldi, não só a nível temático mas igualmente ao nível do dispositivo narrativo.
