Abstract
Lombok merupakan Destinasi Super Prioritas pengembangan oleh Kementrian Pariwisata. Program Desa Wisata juga menjadi prioritas lainnya dalam mengembangkan sebuah destinasi agar masyarakatnya dapat memiliki penghasilan tanpa bermigrasi ke daerah lain. Desa Wisata Kembang Kuning dan Tetebatu merupakan desa yang menjadi percontohan dan sama-sama memiliki pintu masuk ke Gunung Rinjani dan Air Terjun Sarang Walet. Sistem yang digunakan oleh kedua Desa Wisata tersebut merupakan bottom-up sehingga kesadaran masyarakat akan pariwisata sudah tumbuh dan dikembangkan dengan baik. Mulai dari pengelolaan homestay, BumDes dan juga koordinasi antar komunitasnya sudah baik. Pada penelitian ini, tahapan desa wisata tersebut akan di identifikasi menggunakan teori Community Based Tourism hingga menilai dampak serta efektifitas desa wisaata tersebut. Dengan adanya penghargaan kepada Desa Wisata Tetebatu dari UNWTO sebagai Best Tourism Village menjadikan penelitian ini patut dilakukan karena tahapan yang telah dilakukan bisa terekam dan menjadi best practice bagi desa yang mau mengembangkan konsep desa wisata menggunakan Community Based Tourism.
