Abstract
Este capítulo tem como principal objetivo apontar a importância do Texto Livre para a difusão do conhecimento e para a educação por meio da Cultura Livre, como também apresentar alguns softwares que são usados pelo TL na organização dos eventos UEaDSL e CILTec - Online, os que são produzidos pelo grupo para uso externo, e também apontar as produções dos eventos como recursos educacionais abertos (REA), visto que a filosofia do grupo alinha-se aos princípios e características dos REA. Consideramos que, em seus 15 anos, o Texto Livre comprova que é possível a promoção e o incentivo à produção e compartilhamento do conhecimento com base na Cultura Livre e na Ciência Aberta.
