Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

 Characterizing obstetric violence
Abstract: To characterize OV through the documentary “The rebirth of childbirth”. Exploratory research with a qualitative approach based on the reports present in the trilogy “The Renaissance of Childbirth”. Verbal violence, disrespect for female protagonism and manipulation were the frequent situations of obstetric violence in the reports, neglecting women's rights and transforming childbirth into a procedure motorized and disrespectful for both the mother and the baby, causing diverse and often irreversible consequences, such as behavioral disorders, confusions, traumas, insecurities, transforming a potentially unforgettable, biological and natural event into something terrifying, traumatic and inhumane. Nursing professionals, along with their team, need to provide an environment of total welcome, from the moment of prenatal care to the time of delivery and postpartum follow-up. The human look and holistic vision should predominate and be cultivated by them, respecting and prioritizing women's emotions and feelings.
Descriptors: Violence, Obstetric Violence, Humanizing Delivery, Nursing Care.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
