Effect of Battery/Supercapacitor Hybrid Storage System on Battery Voltage in Electric Vehicles
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This paper presents a study of the effect of a battery/supercapacitor hybrid energy storage system (HESS) on battery voltage of an off-road electric vehicle. After modeling, a rule-based filtering strategy is built for a current split of the HESS. The performance of the HESS is assessed under four cases involved in the different selections of the cut-off frequency of a low-pass filter and the size of the supercapacitor bank. In simulations, not only the magnitude/fluctuation of current, but the voltage drops, and voltage fluctuation of the battery are also taken as the criteria for the evaluation. The results demonstrate that when the SCs is designed to be large enough and a proper cut-off frequency is selected, the HESS can significantly improve the battery current/voltage in both root mean square and peak eliminations during an on-road cycle.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
