Abstract
Tant que l’accès à l’alimentation ne sera pas égalitaire, solidaire et libre, les injustices demeureront quant aux conséquences sociales et sanitaires. Pour avancer dans cet objectif de transformation des systèmes alimentaires soucieux de leurs impacts sur le climat, une piste est de se baser sur l’expérience du modèle de protection sociale en France, à savoir le régime général de la sécurité sociale, élaboré en 1945. À partir de ce modèle, nous pouvons penser une sécurité sociale de l’alimentation durable avec un accès universel et égalitaire à une alimentation reconnectée aux conditions de sa production. La démocratie alimentaire comprise comme concept et méthode d’action collective nous donne le cadre pour penser conjointement démocratie sociale et démocratie économique, sans domination de la pensée économique sur la question sociale. Il s’agit bien de reprendre la main sur le(s) système(s) alimentaire(s) par l’ensemble des habitants et habitantes en France, et d’être dans les conditions pour le faire.
