Os arquivos de Marguerite Duras, preservados no IMEC (Institut Mémoires de l’édition contemporaine), permitem desvelar vários aspectos da obra da escritora, cineasta e dramaturga, confirmando um processo criativo de natureza intermidial, pois a obra transita entre o texto literário, a peça de teatro e o filme. Explorando esse campo transdisciplinar — a intermidialidade —, percebe-se como a obra se manifesta na fronteira tênue entre a literatura e o cinema.
