O trauma em tecido mole é comum na pratica bucomaxilofacial, lesões decorrentes de mordedura humana, apesar de serem menos comum em comparação a mordedura animal, se mostram um desavio em relação ao seu tratamento, devido a extensão da lesão, tempo de exposição e por comprometer a estética e função. Quando não abordada corretamente, esse tipo de trauma pode comprometer permanentemente a estética e função do paciente. Este trabalho trata-se de um relato de caso clinico, de um caso de mordedura humana em terço inferior de face em um paciente do sexo masculino de 52 anos, atendido no Hospital geral do estado Professor Osvaldo Brandão Vilela evoluindo com perca de substancia. O tratamento de escolha foi a realização do desbridamento da lesão e sutura do ferimento, garantindo uma melhor cicatrização, preservação da estética e função. Como resultado, o tratamento de escolha foi bem sucedido, com preservação do contorno facial, mimica facial mantida e sem complicações.
