Abstract
El artículo estudia el discurso de la Escuela Geopolpyica Clásica brasilera y la llamada "questao amazonica". Esta última está conformada por los siguientes momentos: Amazonia Legal, fundación de Brasilia, TCA/OTCA. La Escuela de Geopolítica Clásica brasilera tiene como núcleo el Estado y la soberanía. A partir de los principios fundamentales de ellos define las fronteras y límites amazónicos, nacionales y sudamericanos. A partir de ellos el Estado brasilero sostiene una controversia internacional con aquellos Estados y organizaciones (comunidad internacional) que buscan la internacionalización de la Amazonia y el debilitamiento de la soberanía de los Estados amazónicos
