A Kalman Filter for the Identification of Impulse Responses with Particular Symmetry Features
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The identification of long-length impulse responses raises challenging issues in the context of many important applications. In this paper, we consider a theoretical model of the system to be identified, which consists in a combination of bilinear forms that owns particular symmetry features. Following a decomposition of the global impulse response using the Kro-necker product, the conventional system identification problem can be solved based on a combination of the estimates provided by two shorter filters. The solution is formulated in terms of a Kalman filter, with lower computational complexity and improved performance, as compared to the conventional approach. Simulation results outline the advantages of the proposed method.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
