Abstract
En China, desde la dinastía Han (202 a.C.-220 d.C.) la escritura se constituirá en una clave de acceso al poder. Este acceso prácticamente estará restringido a los hombres que, en muchas ocasiones, adoptarán una voz poética femenina. El artículo presenta una revisión sobre algunos aspectos de esta usurpación de la voz femenina, mencionando la aparición de algunas escritoras a lo largo de la historia hasta el advenimiento de la dinastía Ming (1387-1644). Mostraremos cómo el discurso filosófico de esta época en torno a la pasión (qing) se plasma en El Pabellón de las Peonías, del dramaturgo Tang Xianzu (1550-1616). La obra, con una protagonista femenina, tendrá como consecuencia directa, junto a otros factores, la aparición en los siglos XVII y XVIII de un gran número de mujeres lectoras, editoras o autoras, de las que presentamos algunos de sus textos más representativos.
