Abstract
Les textes présentés dans ce numéro spéciale intitulé : « Haïti et sa diversité scientifique : contributions à la pensée latino-américaine » s’inscrit à donner voix aux étudiants professeurs et chercheurs haïtiens à travers ce dossier. Ce volume présente des résultats diversifiés qui mobilisent plusieurs domaines de recherche et qui clarifient certains concepts visant à aider le développement scientifique haïtien déjà boiteux. Les critiques développées pourront aider à mieux comprendre les problèmes rencontrés dans l’agriculture, l’éducation, la santé, l’environnement – que se disputent les auteurs individuels ou collectifs. Il s’agit donc de valoriser et donner de la visibilité à des lieux et des groupes sociaux qui, historiquement, n’ont jamais occupé des espaces privilégiés où la parole est effectivement entendue. Nos auteurs abordent des problématiques diverses et fournissent un éclairage sur les aspects gouvernementaux, scientifiques et militants. En outre ils abordent la problématique socio-territorial d’Haïti la vulnérabilité du pays face à la pauvreté et aux changement climatiques. Leur analyse porte exclusivement sur Haïti. Nous croyons que leurs textes peuvent guider les différents acteurs (décideurs publics ou privé ou communauté locale porteuse d’intérêts divergents) et essentiellement contribuer au développement scientifique du pays et par ricochet le développement économique, social et environnemental.
