Abstract
En):Czech readers have the opportunity to get to know Canadian literature written in French mostly thanks to unique editorial projects.If one is dependent on translations and Czech magazine or book editions, it is difficult to form a concrete picture of this literature.Even in today's globalized world, stereotypical ideas of what Canadian life and culture are like can persist.Yet in recent years, our debt to this literature seems to be diminishing.This is a credit to certain publishing houses, but also to some translators, journalists and, not least, university professors and literary theorists.
