Abstract
En): This paper discusses different discursive issues dealing with the topic of America within the Qubcois poetry of the Quiet Revolution period (1960)(1961)(1962)(1963)(1964)(1965)(1966)(1967)(1968)(1969)(1970).In particular, we shall observe how the imaginary sense of belonging to American space changes from ideological and political approach (where the oxymoronic figure of "White Nigger" plays a central role) to the perception of otherness as a personal and more intimate experience implicated by the urban everyday context.
