Abstract
Résumé Bien avant Raymond Murray Schafer – compositeur canadien (1933-2021) –, théoricien du « paysage sonore », Proust dépeint les sites naturels et urbains en les associant étroitement à leurs sonorités. Qu’il s’agisse des « deux côtés » et des paysages campanaires de Combray, des rues de Paris écoutées à l’aveugle depuis la chambre du narrateur, des espaces aériens, des variations visuelles et sonores de la perception, ou encore des rapports entre paysage sonore et mémoire involontaire, Proust – qui associe subtilité et modernité – reconstruit souvent l’espace et en recompose la musique.
