Abstract

Si la conférence-performance a attiré l’attention de nombreux théoriciens et historiens des arts contemporains, elle est encore peu étudiée dans le champ littéraire. Or, ce medium constitue une plateforme d’observation particulièrement intéressante des différentes tendances à l’œuvre dans la création littéraire contemporaine. Par ailleurs, une démarche archéologique permet, à partir de cette notion, de considérer avec un regard neuf les conférences d’écrivains du passé, non comme de simples textes théoriques, mais comme de véritables performances. C’est donc à partir d’un point de vue littéraire que nous tenterons de penser ce medium hybride, mobilisant des pratiques artistiques, des discours théoriques et des supports médiatiques divers.
