Abstract
En nous intéressant à des textes consacrés au cinéma dans l’hebdomadaire littéraire Les Nouvelles littéraires, entre 1924 et 1928, nous examinerons la construction d’un discours sur le cinéma, principalement porté par des écrivains (par exemple, Alexandre Arnoux, René Jeanne, ou encore Jean Prévost) et qui fait la part belle à la référence américaine. Ainsi, nous nous interrogerons sur la manière dont ces écrivains s’emparent du sujet cinéma, sur la construction et l’écriture de textes qui placent généralement le cinéma américain au centre du dispositif référentiel, tout en l’inscrivant dans un horizon plus large.
