Les séries télévisées ont longtemps privilégié la figure de l’héroïne qui, dans son cheminement vers l’émancipation personnelle, devait vaincre les obstacles sexistes en mobilisant des ressources individuelles. Ce mouvement se double aujourd’hui d’une vague de séries que nous appelons « à choeur féminin », centrées sur des couples ou des groupes de femmes très solidaires. Cet article explore six de ces productions : Girls, Mom, Jane the Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Grace & Frankie et Sex Education. Dans ces séries, les personnages mettent leurs amitiés au service de forums intimes, où la solidarité féminine est mise au service de la sexualité individuelle, en ayant pour socle la reconnaissance des désirs et des pratiques. Cette perspective ouvre la voie à des innovations majeures de représentations, comme, entre autres, la diversification des corporalités représentées ou l’ouverture des âges de la sexualité, des adolescent·e·s aux personnes âgé·e·s.
