O trabalho apresenta resultados de uma pesquisa em curso que tem por objetivo investigar práticas coletivas espaciais e modalidades emergentes de atuação e lutas territoriais que, na condição de exemplos, apontem caminhos para a construção de uma agenda de transformação de paradigmas para o pensamento e a ação sobre o urbano e a vida coletiva no contexto da atual crise civilizatória e ambiental que podemos associar à palavra Antropoceno. A estas práticas damos o nome de microecologias críticas. Com base na ferramenta da ecologia das práticas, de Isabelle Stengers, são apresentadas duas práticas territoriais que permitem refletir — a partir de seus modos de fazer, contextos e problemas específicos — como elementos de uma mudança epistemológica associada à crítica do paradigma do desenvolvimento incidem nas relações entre participação e design do/no/com território.
