Pour favoriser le développement de connaissances prénumériques et numériques d’élèves ayant une déficience intellectuelle légère (DIL), nous avons choisi d’explorer le potentiel de situations adidactiques. Nous avons ainsi mis à l’épreuve, dans une classe d’élèves ayant une DIL, des situations adidactiques robustes ayant été expérimentées auprès d’élèves n’ayant pas de déficience intellectuelle. Ce texte présente les analyses a priori et a posteriori de deux situations, soit « Boites et bâtons » (Briand, 1999; Briand et coll., 2004) et « Commande de gommettes » (Ste-Marie, 2013). Les résultats de notre recherche montrent le défi que représente la dévolution, mais aussi la capacité d’élèves ayant une DIL d’interagir avec leurs pairs (de façon essentiellement non verbale) et de modifier leur stratégie grâce aux interactions avec le milieu et au soutien de l’enseignant·e. Notre recherche ouvre ainsi sur quelques pistes pour favoriser une attitude réflexive chez les élèves ayant une DIL, et ce, en travaillant autour d’une même situation de référence, malgré l’hétérogénéité des connaissances des élèves au sein de la classe.
