Hasil penelitian ini memaparkan tentang hasil belajar siswa pada topik suhu dan kalor melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rangcangan one group pretest-posttest design. Penentuan subyek menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan intact group sehingga terpilih siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Telaga Biru yang berada di Kabupaten Gorontalo. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan gain-score yang termasuk pada kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan adanya penerapan model inquiry learning pada konsep suhu dan kalor.
