L’agir communicationnel, renouveau de l’éducation populaire en bibliothèque

Abstract
Prenant appui sur la théorie de l’agir communicationnel d’Habermas, nous cherchons, dans cet article, à discerner le moteur éducatif commun aux actions nombreuses et variées, telles que formations, conférences, tables rondes, ateliers, master classes, parcours, conversations, clubs et autres programmes divers, prenant place en bibliothèque de lecture publique. À cet effet, nous sollicitons les concepts de système et de médium, afin de tenter de décliner les facteurs d’apprentissage en relation avec l’intercompréhension rationnelle au sein de cette institution. À la suite de cet éclairage théorique, nous complétons cette approche exploratoire par quelques apports empiriques collectés selon le paradigme de l’observation participante. Ces prémisses ont pour but de contribuer à une vision renouvelée de l’éducation populaire à destination des adultes.
