Abstract
Pendant la pandémie de la COVID-19, des individus collaborent pour mettre fin au désert alimentaire qui perdure depuis plus de deux décennies dans le quartier Saint-Henri à Montréal. À partir des expériences des membres du Collectif La DAL, cet article propose une réflexion critique sur les enjeux qui entourent le développement de projets par et pour la population. Après un bref historique des défis rencontrés par le Collectif, nous présentons leurs démarches de recherche d’équilibre pour permettre au projet citoyen de voir le jour. Nous concluons avec des pistes pour donner l’occasion aux collectivités de soutenir le développement d’initiatives de proximité.
