Au Canada, le Code criminel rend possible l'instauration d'un programme
\nde mesures de rechange général pour adultes depuis 1996. Au Québec,
\ndu 1er septembre 2017 au 31 mars 2019, pareil programme a été mis à l'épreuve
\nsous forme de projet pilote dans trois districts judiciaires de la Cour du Québec.
\nAfin de soutenir son implantation et de favoriser l’atteinte de ses objectifs, il fût
\naccompagné d’une recherche descriptive et analytique, de sa conceptualisation à
\nson opérationnalisation. Le présent article veut démystifier le Programme de
\nmesures de rechange général pour adultes du Québec en exposant les résultats
\ndes premières analyses réalisées.
