Abstract
La collaboration entre artistes fait partie intégrale du rap, dans la mesure où il n’est pas rare d’avoir des prestations de différents artistes dans un album. Alors que le rap québécois et celui de l’Hexagone ont évolué de manière souvent indépendante, il existe quelques featurings entre artistes de part et d’autre de l’Atlantique. La présente étude porte sur trois chansons issues d’une collaboration entre les rappeurs Souldia (Québec) et Sinik (France). À l’aide de la cantologie, nous démontrons que la manière dont se manifestent l’identité, le territoire, ainsi que le lexique propre à chaque artiste, contribue à chaque chanson étudiée.
