proceso queda claro en el caso de Dulcinea, una figura idealizada a quien inventa don Quijote para guardarla en su memoria y dedicarle sus hazañas.A lo largo de sus aventuras don Quijote insiste en su devoción a su dama, aunque Sancho no cree que esta le dé su bendición ni que reciba los tributos de quienes haya vencido su amo.La presentación de Luscinda es distinta.En el marco ficticio del Quijote esta es una mujer de carne y hueso, de quien se enamora Cardenio por su belleza y virtudes.No obstante, cuando Cardenio se convence de que Luscinda lo ha abandonado y se retira a la soledad de la Sierra Morena, lamenta la crueldad de su amada en términos que recuerdan a las desdeñosas damas de la poesía lírica cortesana.Estos dos personajes femeninos se basan en la figura de la amada ausente e indiferente de la tradición petrarquista, modelo ya canónico en las letras áureas por la influencia de Garcilaso de la Vega 1 .
