Abstract
la suite de discussions publiques concernant les injustices, ingalits et violences dont sont victimes certaines personnes et certains groupes au Qubec, la frquence d'emploi de l'expression racisme systmique a fait un bond fulgurant, notamment dans l'espace mdiatique. Devenue un objet discursif d'importance dans le discours public, l'expression peut tre envisage comme une formule discursive qui a fait l'objet de comprhensions plurielles et antagonistes et qui s'est retrouve au coeur d'une polmique mtalangagire. partir d'un corpus constitu de textes publis dans trois quotidiens qubcois, Le Devoir, La Presse et Le Journal de Montral, notre objectif est d'analyser cette polmique, qui s'est manifeste notamment par la confusion entre les termes systmique et systmatique et par la contestation du rfrent, ce qui a donn lieu de multiples tentatives de dfinitions de toutes parts, marques par des rfutations et des exemplifications.
