Abstract
En tenant compte de la variable du genre dans l’analyse des dynamiques qui ont maintenu les femmes loin des lieux d’intellectualité et de la mémoire collective, la biographie intellectuelle peut contribuer à la déconstruction des critères androcentriques en histoire. Basée sur le cas de Jeanne Lapointe, femme de lettres québécoise du xxe siècle, la réflexion théorique proposée ici invite à (re)penser le traitement biographique de l’intellectuelle. Les ajustements non sexistes apportés à l’angle méthodologique, à la posture narrative et à l’analyse sociohistorique des intellectuelles permettent de situer plus objectivement l’imbrication et la spécificité des expériences des femmes dans une histoire d’inter-influences, de baliser le rapport intersubjectif qui lie biographe et sujet féminin, et de mettre au jour une action souvent réalisée en dehors des voies principales de consécration.
