Abstract
Nuestro trabajo trata de demostrar la hipótesis de que la información obtenida con el empleo de la enteroscopia con CEID en pacientes con enfermedad de Crohn en vida real es de utilidad en el manejo diagnóstico-terapéutico al caracterizar mejor la situación de su enfermedad. Puesto que la CEID ha demostrado ser una herramienta diagnóstica de primera línea en la evaluación del ID, si nuestra hipótesis fuera cierta, sus hallazgos en pacientes con EC tendrán un impacto diagnóstico (tanto en la valoración de la extensión y el fenotipo según la clasificación de Montreal como en la evaluación de la actividad inflamatoria en ID o la recurrencia postquirúrgica) así como un impacto terapéutico (permitiendo optimizar el tratamiento al guiar tanto la intensificación como la desescalada terapéutica en función de sus hallazgos).
